This is a survey report for an owner to present to an insurance underwriter or agent when applying for vessel insurance. This survey is similar to a buyers survey, but contains less cosmetic detail and cabin description. The inspection and report includes all safety and structural integrity aspects. Also all federal and ABYC standards compliance is checked. The value stated. Any serious problems are reported. An insurance survey may also be a request to a current policy holder by an insurance company to up-date records or as a periodic requirement for coverage. |
