About David H. Wilson SAMSŪ AMSŪ

Marine Surveys by Wilson & Associates, David H. Wilson SAMSŪ AMSŪ I began my career at the University of Washington Mechanical Engineering Department while working at the Boeing Aircraft Company as an engineering aide. I also had a commercial diving company that pioneered the use of underwater photography for underwater surveys as well as the use of wet suits for greater mobility than the traditional "hard hat" diving suits.

After several years of sales in everything from life insurance to cash registers I started Wilson Marine in 1969. The original Wilson Marine started in Edmonds but moved to Lake Union in 1972. Wilson Marine remained on Lake Union until it was closed in 2000. My duties at Wilson Marine were that of VP and overseer of the repair shop and parts department while my partner Denny Roehl took care of the administration side of the business. During that time I have been involved with virtually every problem that a pleasure boat under 65 ft. could encounter from engine repair to delaminated fiberglass hulls.

I have been factory certified by many of the most popular service schools including but not limited to: Mercruiser, OMC, Caterpillar, Cummins, Volvo, Marine Power, Onan, Kohler, Universal, Borg Warner and and I have attended several auxiliary equipment seminars as well.

I also hold a 100 Ton masters license #916001
