PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
July 2003 - Present President: (Full Time) Marine Surveying and consulting. Power- Sail- Houseboats, Condition and Valuation, Pre Offer, Pre Purchase, Insurance/Damage, Maintenance- Project Management; Yacht Deliveries.
January 1985 - July 2003 Southeast Yacht Services, Inc. Cumming, Georgia. President. An independent boat yard and mobile repair company equipped for marine services, commissioning, repair, hauling, Marine surveying, refurbishing, deliveries and operation of pleasure craft.
January 1984 - January 1987 Sailing, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia
Assistant Manager - Largest wholesale/retail sailboat dealership in Georgia in the 1980’s. Responsibilities included; Yacht sales (new and used), Establish and manage ship’s store, hardware and supplies. Establish brokerage listings. Assist service department - outfitting, rigging, commissioning, transporting, and sailing lessons. Set up and man various boat shows. Part time yacht sales (new and used), ship’s store parts and accessories. Set-up and man various boat shows. Lines carried: Hunter, U.S. Yacht, C&C, Hobie.
