| I have had boats all my life, I live between Lake George and Lake Champlain. I bought two boats before I bought my first car. I have been surveying boats full time since 1997 and I am one of a minority of marine surveyors who are willing and qualified to survey wooden boats. About half the boats I survey are wood. I have a technical writing background that goes back more than 20 years. I don't mind traveling to do a survey, especially for wood boats.
