    (On Boat US's Acadia Insurance Company, And Marine MGA Preferred Surveyors List)

  • Teach motor and sailing vessel instruction, including basic navigation and discussion of Rules Of The Road.
Consultant
  • Answer and advise clients questions concerning appropriate repair methods, parts availability and procurement, referrals, vessel out fitting for off shore work, etc. Perform safety inspections, including thru-hull schematics and labeling.
Delivery Captain (* No longer delivering vessels)

Global Marine Repair - Marine Mechanic

  • The focus of this company was in the repair, up keep, and restoration of customers vessels, not subject to survey. Services include marine salvage, major and minor diesel and gasoline engine repair, installation of electronics, plumbing, wiring systems and general maintenance. Successfully completing repair estimates for underwriters consideration.
Subcontractor
  • Duties include preparing new vessel's for customer delivery. Installation of electronics, auto steering systems, wiring upgrades, rigging and stepping as well as assisting in vessel transportation over the road and by sea. By subcontracting to companies such as Seacoast Marine in Newburyport Massachusetts, (A Hunter and Albin Boat Dealer) it is possible to stay abreast of many of the latest technologies.

  • Subcontract labor to assist in the completion of Pre-purchase Surveys, Insurance Surveys, Damage Surveys and Appraisals. Additionally, services were rendered in Insurance Claims Investigations. Primary responsibility was to gather information concerning the details of the loss, acquire written estimates from marine repair facilities, and establish their fairness and accuracy. The claims ranged in back round from collision, fire, theft, vandalism, submersion, to acts of God.

  • Field service dept. phone calls, schedule and organize service work.
  • Set up and schedule truck hauls, complete equipment maintenance logs, administer State filing requirements, maintain hazardous waste manifests and OMC and MerCruiser warranty claims.
  • Provide quality customer service
Marine Mechanic
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain customers power and sailing vessels. Assist with the stepping and rigging of stored spars for the winter storage season, and the re-stepping and rigging upon spring commission.
Tug Operator

  • Safely tow vessels to and from marina, operate mooring barge, assist in off shore drilling and testing for sediment sampling off Seabrook Station.

  • Assist yard in the salvage and repair of damaged vessel's from Hurricane Andrew. These repairs included complete refurbishment of electrical, plumbing, and propulsion systems. Vessels were later sold at auction to the public.
