A professional mariner since 1972, Jim Wood has been involved in many areas of the marine industry: commercial fishing, commercial diving, vessel salvage and recovery. Jim has owned and operated a fleet of offshore service vessels engaged in the reliable carrying of passengers and cargo in all weather conditions along the Pacific rim including overseeing all maintenance and repairs. In 1992, Jim attended the Chapman School of Seamanship's Yacht and Small Craft Surveying course to round out his commercial experience. James Wood will perform expert surveys on recreational and commercial work vessels up to 1600 gross tons. All surveys are performed to ABYC standards and recommended practices, NFPA-302, and the 33 &; 46 CFRs. |
