Marine Surveys by Peter McGuire SAMSŪ AMSŪ Pre-Purchase Survey: This is a comprehensive seven to twelve page written report (depending on size of vessel) on the overall condition of the structural components and systems of the vessel together with prioritized recommendations and a market price evaluation. This inspection is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used vessel.
Marine Surveys by Peter McGuire SAMSŪ AMSŪ Insurance Survey: This inspection is performed so that an underwriter can determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable insurance risk. Marine Surveys by Peter McGuire SAMSŪ AMSŪ Tonnage Surveys: Transport Canada "Tonnage "Measurer", appointed to perform tonnage surveys on vessels up to 24 meters in length. A tonnage survey is required in order to register as a Canadian Vessel in the Canadian Ship's Registry.
