Thomas M. Eve, SAMSŪ AMSŪ, has thirty-five years experience in yacht repair and restoration beginning in 1972. He has been working full time as a marine surveyor as owner and president of Eve Marine Surveyors, Inc since 1984. Fifty percent of the business is specifically related to pre-purchase surveys for perspective buyers encompassing the vessel's general condition, equipment, machinery, hardware and safety gear, with specific recommendations. The remaining fifty percent of the business is related to condition and evaluation surveys and handling marine claims investigation for various insurance companies, and expert witness testimony. Tom has organized and supervised various inshore and offshore salvage operations, salvage disposals and sales of salvaged vessels. |
