Commercial Services

Associated Marine Surveyors service all sectors of the marine industry including Commercial Vessels, Research Vessels, Passenger Vessels, Oilfield Supply Vessels, Crew and Utility Vessels as well as Tug and Towing Vessels. We have served upon them as Captain and Chief Engineer and we have the experience to inspect them. Our experience in commercial operations, possession of both master and engineer tickets as well as extensive USCG inspection experience are all valuable assets few surveyors can offer. We're intimate with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR's), USCG inspection practices and have conducted "T", "K" and "H" boat inspections. We have been granted approved Third Party Inspector status by the U.S. Coast Guard for Alternate Hull Examinations for Passenger Vessels. Very few surveying firms have our experience working with the USCG and Classification Societies, developing shipyard packages and overseeing the work to completion, submitting plans for modification approval to the Coast Guard, developing and submitting Emergency Response Plans as well as implementing them. We are well versed in merchant mariner licenses and have the experience to meet your needs.
