Pre-Purchase Survey: This is a comprehensive seven to twelve page written report (depending on size of vessel) on the overall condition of the structural components and systems of the vessel together with prioritized recommendations and a market price evaluation. This inspection is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used vessel. |

Insurance Survey: This inspection is performed so that an underwriter can determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable insurance risk. It is an abbreviated report / valuation with emphasis on the safety and integrity of the vessel and compliance with American Boat and Yacht Council and applicable Transport Canada / USCG standards. |

Tonnage Surveys: Transport Canada "Tonnage "Measurer", appointed to perform tonnage surveys on vessels up to 24 metres in length. A tonnage survey is required in order to register as a Canadian Vessel in the Canadian Ship's Registry. |

Appraisal Inspection: This is a report that gathers enough information to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel. This would normally be needed for financing, estate settlements, donations and legal cases. |

Deck Core Moisture Analysis: Determines the degree of moisture penetration / migration into deck sandwich cores. A non-destructive digital capacitance type moisture meter is used and a detailed "moisture map" identifying problem areas / delaminations is provided. |

Engine Oil Analysis: This involves drawing an oil sample from the crank case and testing for the presence and levels of water, antifreeze, soot, oxidation, sulphur, wear metals and other contaminants in diesel and gasoline engine lubricants. |

Consulting by the Hour: To work at the client's direction. Typical work in this category would include damage surveys, new construction and repair inspections, sea trials and litigation representation. |
